From a Year-End Sale to Vibe Coding: Why I Chose Google AI & Hostinger

Everything started in December 2025.

It was freezing outside, and I had absolutely no desire to leave my warm house. Bored and scrolling through the internet, I saw it: Google’s Year-End Sale.

Let’s be honest. Who can resist a discount? I certainly couldn’t.

That was the moment I clicked “Subscribe” on the Google AI Premium (Pro) plan. (I looked at the Ultra plan, but let’s be real—that was a bit too expensive for me! 😅)

From “Watcher” to “Doer”

Before this, I was just a spectator. I used the free version of AI models just to get a taste. I spent hours watching famous tech bloggers and YouTubers build amazing things, nodding along but never actually doing it myself.

But now? I paid for it.
And nothing motivates you quite like the fear of wasting subscription money.

I decided to stop just watching and start using these tools properly. I wanted to see if I could really build an automated trading system using only AI, without being a professional coder. This is the beginning of my “Vibe Coding” journey.

Plus, I’m finally fulfilling a childhood dream: Becoming a Blogger.

Why Hostinger? (The Honest Truth)

You might wonder, “Why did you build this blog on Hostinger?”

Did I compare server speeds? Did I analyze uptime statistics? Did I read complex technical reviews?

No.

I simply asked Gemini:

“Hey Gemini, I want to start a WordPress blog. What is the most affordable yet reliable hosting service?”

Gemini answered: “Hostinger offers the best price-to-performance ratio.”

So, I listened. That’s it.
If I’m going to trust AI to build my trading bot, I should trust it to pick my server too, right?

What’s Next?

Now I have the tools (Google AI) and the platform (Hostinger).
The only thing left is to turn my trading ideas into code.

In the next posts, I will share the raw, unfiltered process of building a Korean Stock Market (KRX) Trading Bot using Gemini. Expect errors, expect fixes, and expect results.

Stay tuned. The Vibe Coding begins now.
